The Regulatory Analyst evaluates the regulatory landscape and licensure regulations applicable to healthcare organizations, ensuring alignment of organizational content with federal, national, and state regulations. This position entails the development of both internal and external relationships, the identification of content gaps, and the proposal of curriculum solutions to maintain compliance and support organizational objectives.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 
Regulatory Interpretation 
  • Interpret federal, national, and state healthcare regulations, including discipline-specific licensure requirements, to guide internal alignment and compliance.
  • Analyze regulatory landscapes to inform strategic decisions and ensure content accurately reflects current standards.
  • Identify and define appropriate target audiences for regulatory content to ensure accurate and relevant dissemination.
  • Translate complex regulations into actionable recommendations, effectively communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication 
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal departments to support regulatory integration and alignment.
  • Serve as a liaison to regulatory bodies, representing the organization in both written and verbal communications.
  • Act as a key interdepartmental contact and client escalation point for regulatory issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Adapt communication styles and strategies to diverse audiences and contexts, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration
Content and Curriculum Development 
  • Propose and contribute to the development of organization-specific curricula aligned with regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Identify gaps in compliance-related content and collaborate with the content department to develop responsive action plans.
  • Support regulatory education and awareness by creating marketing collateral or participating in webinars and outreach initiatives.
  • Adapt existing materials or develop new content that clearly conveys regulatory requirements to various stakeholder groups.
Process Improvement 
·       Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of regulatory workflows.
·       Lead and support change management efforts by integrating stakeholder feedback and driving adoption of improved systems.
·       Monitor performance metrics and regulatory trends to inform continuous improvement strategies.
·       Prioritize tasks and timelines to support flexible, scalable solutions for evolving regulatory demands.
 
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory analysis, healthcare compliance, or related roles; 3+ years preferred.
  • Exposure and knowledge related to healthcare agencies and regulatory bodies
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
