Priority Review Date (Note - Posting may close at any time) Job Summary The Department of Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Research Dev Associate I with experience in health research or informatics. They will work with the faculty in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, College of Nursing and with the engineering staff of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science Biomedical Informatics Core as a part of the SMARTER project at the University of Utah (

This position is benefited but is
only temporarily funded for one year from the date of hire. The position may be extended based on additional funding and business need.
Responsibilities Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a web application. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Axure, Sketch, or Figma. Collaborate with development and research teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Conduct user testing, and utilize feedback to iterate on designs and improve overall user experience. Collaborate to align design goals with research project objectives. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).

Preferences | Education or experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work Experience with user testing Proficiency in design tools such as Axure, Sketch, or Figma Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
