Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
This position provides operational management and knowledge-driven planning and direction for multiple educational and research laboratories (physical and computational) in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. This position also requires knowledge of laboratory operations, regulatory requirements, and safety in addition to research and teaching concepts.The Lab Manager will oversee the daily operations and long-term planning of the teaching and research laboratories within the department. This role includes maintaining lab equipment, ensuring safety protocols, managing lab schedules, supporting faculty and students in lab classes and research activities, and coordinating with external vendors. The Lab Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a productive and safe learning environment for the students.
