The Role in Brief:
Research Partner Engagement Associate
As a member of the EAB Research Partner Engagement team, this Specialist role is on the front lines of tracking and executing against our scaled plans for partner engagement. This means: recruiting and retaining partners at events, supporting Strategic Leaders with the data, information and collateral they need to activate partner participation, and reporting on trends and overall uptake of the services we offer. We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful team player who helps drive the team toward hitting ambitious goals and continuously improves how we work through innovative thinking and smart use of emerging technologies.
This role has been cross-listed at the Specialist level. Candidates will be automatically considered for both levels.
This hire may be based in Washington, D.C.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruitment Outreach & Registration Management
- Support registration processes for events, including managing exceptions (e.g., title restrictions) and resolving escalations in partnership with the Partner Engagement Operations team
- Conduct outreach campaigns to Executive and Administrative Assistants to increase event awareness and attendance, and confirm participation
- Identify opportunities to improve outreach effectiveness and campaign performance through automation, testing, and AI-enabled tools
Collateral, Scripting and List Management
- Create materials and resources that colleagues need to activate partner participation
- Activate targeted partner lists to support outreach campaigns, including identifying high-priority segments and key engagement moments
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT and other emerging technologies) to enhance content development, personalization, and efficiency while maintaining high quality and brand standards
Communication and Data Reporting
- Manage recurring event digests to keep colleagues informed of events on offer and forthcoming
- Report on partner participation in events and services
- Apply innovative thinking and emerging technologies to surface insights, improve reporting processes, and deepen partner impact
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated interest in event operations, marketing, partner/customer engagement, sales support, or a related role
- Strong writing skills and comfort in a writing-intensive role
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Comfort working with data and generating reports to inform stakeholders
- Expertise in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with cloud-based content management platforms (Box, Dropbox, etc.).
- Experience using CRM systems, email platforms, or event management tools
- Comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar technologies) to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and support content development

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $41,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
