This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates residing in the southeast region of Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strategic territory sales plan, cultivate new relationships, and drive new sales to meet and exceed revenue targets. 
  • Conduct sales presentations, demonstrate product lines, and initiate calls and emails necessary to develop strong relationships with prospective customers and drive sales. 
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including contacts, calls, presentations, and sales for customers within the territory. 
  • Provide detailed periodic territory sales forecasts. 
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them to new products, services, and enhancements to protect and grow the customer base. 
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, fast-moving selling environment. 
  • Participate in networking opportunities and represent the company at educational conferences and events.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, education, or related field, OR equivalent work experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales development, business development, or inside sales role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience in lead generation and qualification as an individual contributor, with the ability to build processes from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho One)
  • Proficiency with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with lead generation tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to conduct online and in-person meetings and maintain a home office. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.  
  • Willingness to travel within a sales territory (local/regional) on weekdays.
  • Currently residing in Houston, TX or surrounding southeast Texas area.

Preferred Skills/Abilities  
  • Previous sales experience in the Texas K-12 education market, specifically for supplemental materials and eLearning products. 
  • Knowledge of K-12 education in the Texas market, including assessment, digital learning resources, and educational technology. 
  • Knowledge of education policy, K-12 school budgetary processes, the STAAR exam, and experience in K-12 district-level education sales. 
  • Knowledge of ACT and SAT testing in the Texas education market.

This job may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 or more pounds.
