Schedule:	Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends
Salary/Wage Range:	Hourly $13.00 to $16.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:	We are looking for an energetic, organized, responsible, people loving Sales Associate!Â The Soap Opera is a great place to work right on State Street where the action happens! With amazing products, super kind co-workers, happy customers, and a 40% staff discount we think you will truly enjoy working with us! Main Job Duties: Work one on one with customers to help them find what they're looking for in store, over the phone, and online Price & stock new inventory, as well as maintaining areas of the shop to ensure they're well stocked and looking phenomenal. This will also include ensuring the backstock is well organized General Cleaning such as sweeping/vacuuming/ dusting/ whipping down counters etc. Learn The Soap Operas gift wrapping and custom scenting procedures to help customers Pulling products for online orders and shipping them Creating seasonal displays so the shop is staying on trend and looking great Creating social media posts on occation if something in store seems like it needs to be shared Data entry OtherÂ duties that may come up are manufacturing type duties such as bagging herbs, bottling house products, and making soaps Â This is a part time position of about 10-30 hours per week. We would need Tuesday/Thursday help, as well as weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will be around for the summer as well. If you're looking to venture into a full time position into retail at some point, we also have a ton of room for growth with us for the right motivated person.
Qualifications:	Must enjoy working with people and be well organzied, and open to learning.
Physical Demands	Must be able to stand for up to an 8 hour shift. May have to lift up to 50lbs when new inventory comes in.
