Sales Associate, Pinnacle Full Description

As a sales associate at Pinnacle, a high-end fashion and jewelry boutique, you will deliver polished, attentive, and personalized service that meets luxury retail standards. You will cultivate meaningful client relationships and maintain a strong knowledge of fashion, featured artists, trends, materials, and the stories behind designs. Under the direction of the manager and director of retail operations, you will support clients' efforts. Among other duties, you will assist clients with styling, product selection, and gift recommendations. You will also support efforts to achieve and exceed boutique sales goals through exceptional service and engagement.

In this role, you will uphold all visual merchandising standards to ensure the boutique is visually elegant and artfully arranged. You will assist with window displays, product placement, and merchandising refreshes. You will also maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor, stockroom, and fitting areas. Responsibilities include assisting with receiving, organizing, and processing new inventory and artwork, as well as the proper tagging, labeling, and display of merchandise.

In this position, you will partner with the store manager and other team members to maintain a warm, collaborative environment. You will prepare the boutique for events, trunk shows, designer showcases, and special activations. Among other duties, you will accurately process sales transactions, monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the manager, and support packaging, shipping, restocking, and operational tasks. Additionally, you will uphold the mission and values of the university and the boutique's luxury identity in all interactions.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in fashion, jewelry, design, and emerging talent. They demonstrate polished communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset. The candidate can successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional appearance and a refined sense of personal style. 

Preferred qualifications:  
  • Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, jewelry, or hospitality
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events  
Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
