About the role
At Learning Pool, our Sales Development team plays a vital role in driving growth by generating high-quality leads and initiating meaningful conversations with potential customers. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll act as a front-line connector between Learning Pool and the organizations we serve, introducing our award-winning learning solutions and identifying opportunities for our Account Executives to engage.
This is an early-stage sales role that’s ideal for motivated, energetic individuals looking to develop a career in tech sales within a global and fast-growing company. You’ll use a best-in-class technology stack and a multichannel outreach approach, including phone, email, video, and social platforms like LinkedIn, to engage new prospects. On-target earnings for this role are $75,000 per year (base salary plus uncapped commission).
What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage with prospective customers through structured outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, video messaging, and more
- Book and schedule discovery and qualification calls for Account Executives
- Qualify leads using the BANT framework to ensure alignment with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Share prospect insights and handover details with Account Executives to support successful transitions and pipeline development
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, support demand generation efforts, and identify trends
- Assist with nurturing long-term prospects and maintaining healthy pipeline activity
- Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and performance targets set by the business
- Create awareness and generate interest in Learning Pool’s digital learning solutions through cold outreach, email campaigns, and LinkedIn/social engagement with HR, L&D, and operational leaders.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline and gain exposure to enterprise and mid-market learning technology deals.
- Qualify outbound prospects, setting high-quality discovery meetings with key stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate the value and capabilities of Learning Pool’s platform, including learning experience platforms (LXPs), custom content, and analytics solutions.
- Maintain and manage a high-volume of activity within cadences.
- Provide feedback and insights to SDR Managers on messaging effectiveness, outreach strategies, and market response.
- Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing teams to share best practices, improve workflows, and contribute to a strong team culture.

- Adaptability in Remote Environments: You will be comfortable working in a distributed, global team with asynchronous communication and a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
Although not essential, it would be highly desirable to have experience in the following:
- Experience in a sales or business development role in any industry with a track record of continuously improving through reflection and adaptation.
