About You
If you’re passionate about sales, especially in the digital creator space, we invite you to apply for our SDR position. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind identifying, engaging, and qualifying creators who can thrive on Teachable. You’ll work across both inbound and outbound channels to build a strong pipeline and help expand our impact in the creator economy. You will be responsible for researching and sourcing high-potential prospects, responding to inbound interest, and engaging with creators through email, phone, social, and events to introduce our value proposition.This role will collaborate with teams including Customer Success, Marketing/Events, and Growth to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and achieve targeted sales metrics. The SDR will report to the Lead Account Executive.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and Activate: Convert inbound and outbound leads into paying customers by effectively qualifying prospects, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right Teachable plan—driving high conversion rates with a performance-based compensation structure.
- Build and Cultivate: Drive what Sales looks like at Teachable in partnership with their Lead Account Executive for best practices and creating a seamless part of the sales cycle beforehand.
- Identify and Connect: Leverage Teachable’s extensive creator data to identify existing customers best suited for premium plans and initiate upsell conversions
- Represent Teachable: Understand our product and offerings in such that providing the best solutions for creators comes easy and with high conversion rates.
- Maintain Effective Communication: Keep open and effective communication with partners, proactively finding timely solutions to resolve any issues or challenges.
- Delegate, research and Automate: Utilize AI tools to automate sales tasks, build collateral and streamline workflows.
- Report and Analyze: Manage all key reporting metrics meticulously, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making and strategy.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to optimize lead generation campaigns and messaging.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM.
- Track and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generated.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience
- Full cycle sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, with the ability to develop and learn through experimentation.
- Tooling: Experience with CRMs (we use Hubspot) and call transcription tools (i.e. Fireflies and Fathom)
- LLM and AI Agent Curiosity: You are motivated to work smarter, not harder by utilizing LLMs or AI agents for workflow improvements and scaleability.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance metrics, communicate learnings, and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Critical Thinking and Efficiency: Ability to think critically and execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Highly detailed, organized, and planning-oriented, with exceptional follow-through, initiative, and time management skills.
- Independence and Multitasking: Ability to be independent, self-motivated, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable’s overall company value. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted annually or in conjunction with a promotion.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Ideally this role is hybrid to our NYC office but we will explore remote talent for the right candidate.
- For this role, the cash compensation package potential is $74,659 - $89,587 base, exclusive of a performance bonus that will be tied to set targets. OTE will vary from $106,000 - $185,000 (inclusive of base) determining the targets achieved. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
While Teachable maintains our NY office for local employees to use, we operate as a remote-first culture in order to give our employees added flexibility.
