The Role
Are you a driven, ambitious professional ready to launch your career in sales? At Magma Math, we’re looking for energetic Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our fast-growing team in New York City.

As an SDR, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth—connecting with schools, educators, and administrators to share how Magma Math transforms math learning. You’ll use a strategic mix of outreach, creativity, and persistence to spark interest and set qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This isn’t just another SDR role—it’s a springboard for growth. You’ll gain hands-on experience, work closely with an inspiring sales team, and have a clear path for advancement as we continue to scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential customers for Magma Math, generate new leads, and set meetings for the sales team through a mix of cold calls, and emails
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to position our product effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and activities in Hubspot
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and meetings set

Who you are:
  • 1-2 years of SDR or lead generation experience in B2B
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • A strong interest in the education sector and a desire to make a positive impact through technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wide team

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Hubspot, ZoomInfo, or other GTM sales tools
  • Prior experience in education technology or a similar industry‍

Note: we are an in-office first culture and work from our New York office four days per week
