Bluum is currently seeking a Regional Sales Director. This role plays an important part of our goal to bring technology to students; we are proud to serve thousands of school districts reaching 27 million students in North America.

As a Bluum Sales Director, you are responsible to the success of a geographic territory.  You will build, mentor and manage a team of sales professionals with the goal of growing market share.

Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard Bluum’s values, customers and reputation
  • Drive the growth of your master territory
  • Become the guru of your geography and the competition
  • Hire, mentor and drive the activity level of sales professionals
  • Course-correct struggling team members to success or termination
  • Own complicated situations such as conflicts, large deals and customer issues
  • Develop an account level plan with every team member
  • Keep cadence of one-on-one reviews, team meetings and regional events
  • Participate in budget building and marketing ideation
  • Maintain and report sales forecast, operating budgets and other metrics
  • Communicate company messaging to your team
  • Travel (efficiently) to see team members, meet customers and attend events
  • Build relationships with vendors

Education & Skill Requirements
  • Unwavering ethics, competitive spirit and an understanding of servant leadership
  • At least 4 years of previous sales management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using tools such as CRM, ERP and Office Products
  • Strong mentoring skills and a track record of developing people
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Reside within the geography of the Region

Not required, but it would be useful if you have
  • Experience selling to the Education sector
  • Experience selling Technology
  • Post-secondary education
  • Working knowledge of Spanish or other languages

Associates or better.

Experience

Preferred
3-6 years:
Strong background marketing to education or technical sales (audio/visual, electronics, software, systems, etc.)

4-6 years:
Managing a large sales force
