About the Role
As a Sales Executive you will promote nursing curriculum materials and electronic products to nursing health professional and higher education institutions. You will utilize solution based selling techniques to demonstrate the full value of Elsevier's digital products including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books. You will have assigned accounts with established customers as well as new account leads. The territory serves customers in Connecticut and New York and candidates should reside within the territory. This is a field based position with weekly travel for on site customer meetings.
 
Responsibilities
  • Developing sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products
  • Driving successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for the customers in your territory.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals. Providing in-depth product training, support and guidance directly aligned to the curriculum.
  • Creating and delivering compelling presentations on Elsevier's suite of products and how they can create the a robust classroom experience.
  • Tracking sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com

Requirements
  • Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing
  • Possess a proven track record of B2B sales success
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required (Motor vehicle check required).
  • Live within designated territory

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,600 - $99,300. Total Target Cash Range: $91,600 - $152,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.If performed in New York, the base pay range is $65,500 - $109,200, the total target cash range is $100,800 - $168,100.If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $68,500 - $114,200, the total target cash range is $105,400 - $175,700.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $56,600 - $94,400, the total target cash range is $87,000 - $145,100.Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
