Sales Instructional Designer II Full Description

Overview: 
National Debt Relief is looking for a passionate and innovative Instructional Designer to help shape the future of learning within our Sales organization. If you thrive on creating impactful learning experiences, blending creativity with strategy, and enjoy seeing your work directly contribute to business success—this is the role for you. 
 
As an Instructional Designer, you’ll partner closely with our Sales leaders, Learning & Development team, and cross-functional partners to design and deliver engaging training programs. From onboarding new hires to building advanced leadership development courses, your work will directly support employee growth, performance, and customer success.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs tailored to the needs of the Sales organization. 
  • Create impactful learning materials—including onboarding guides, role-play scenarios, assessments, facilitation guides, and performance evaluation tools. 
  • Develop and maintain digital content such as presentations, eLearning modules, and training videos. 
  • Manage and update training materials within our Learning Management System (Cornerstone). 
  • Analyze training needs to recommend solutions that boost knowledge, skills, and overall business performance. 
  • Design curriculum for continuing education and leadership development programs. 
  • Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to ensure training aligns with business goals. 
  • Leverage adult learning principles and modern instructional techniques to maximize effectiveness. 
  • Track success through measurement strategies, reporting, and KPI tracking. 
  • Provide logistical support for training sessions, including scheduling and coordination for remote teams. 
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to ensure sales teams are prepared for product launches and GTM initiatives. 

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
  • ​​​Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Instructional Design) required.  
  • ​6 years’ instructional design experience required, (adult learning focus strongly preferred). 
  • ​6 years of experience in adult learning as an L&D specialist designing, curating, and delivering learning solutions preferred. ​​

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • ​​​Extensive experience working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone-On-Demand preferred) 
  • ​Education Architecture background preferred. 
  • ​Proficiency in Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and video editing tools.
  • ​Strong knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theories, and training evaluation methods. 
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset. 
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience designing innovative, learner-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Remote work experience a plus.

Compensation Information: Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings.
