Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced SAP Training Developer to support the development and delivery of training for an SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large Federal government agency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience planning, developing, and executing end‑user training for a large‑scale implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting full‑time opportunity to work in a fast‑paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations in the U.S. Federal government. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client, working in an Agile environment using emerging technologies. You will interact with a dynamic team with opportunities to learn and grow your consulting and training skills as you help provide a comprehensive change‑management journey to our client.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal’s offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• As a Training Developer, use training and instructional design methodologies to ensure alignment with mission training objectives.
• Plan, develop, and deliver training materials as scheduled.
• Create training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented; this will require learning enough about the core system to develop relevant training materials.
• Deliver training through a variety of methods, including in‑person classroom training, virtual training, and self‑directed learning sessions for a decentralized audience.
• Use Articulate 360 to create training content.
• Have the desire and ability to travel within the U.S., as needed, to deliver training.
• Develop training that teaches users financial processes and related technology, including role‑based exercises within an SAP training environment.
• Coordinate related stand‑alone documents that support training.
• Conduct needs assessments and instructional analyses to determine appropriate learning methods.
• Prepare supporting plans for training project completion, including comprehensive timelines.
• Conduct performance‑based assessments for objective evaluation of instructional programs.
• Prepare training status reports, exhibits, communications, and procedures as required.
• Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program objectives, operational procedures, and system constraints.
• Stay current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements.
• Author and organize training system procedural manuals and supporting documentation in accordance with organizational and departmental requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to government contract and clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, as well as successful completion of the CGI background check prior to beginning work. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in training development and delivery for Federal government clients.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Articulate 360.
• Experience with other training authoring tools such as Vyond or Camtasia.

Desired qualifications (non‑essential):
• Experience with Agile methodology.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 - $153,300.00.
