What You'll Do 
  • Perform the month-end close process for the main EcoSystems (Accounting & Financial Services)
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand key drivers of month-end performance versus plan and lead projects to support their financial needs.
  • Prepare commissions for the sales team.
  • Prepare month-end close journal entries.
  • Support the integration of acquired entities into the related international EcoSystem.
  • Address management questions regarding EcoSystem performance.
  • Communicate month-end results effectively to Colibri Management.
  • Analyze and report categorized addbacks.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements by:
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintaining adequate supporting documentation for financial results.
  • Ensuring accounting data for respective EcoSystems is accurately coded and complete.
  • Provide value and insight to business leaders through research and analysis of business results.
  • Initiate or collaborate on process and procedure improvements related to areas of responsibility.
  • Support Accounting Management during Colibri's external audits by researching and responding to accounting and financial inquiries.
  • Undertake special projects and general management assignments as requested by Accounting Management.

What You'll Need to Succeed 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with a proven record of success in progressively senior accounting/finance roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (CPA preferred).
  • Highly results-oriented with impeccable integrity and honesty.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Process improvement mindset and intellectual curiosity (entrepreneurial spirit).
  • Solid accounting experience (revenue reconciliations a plus), ideally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and goals.
  • Audit experience is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite preferred).
