Position OverviewThe office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire a Senior Admissions Processor-Undergraduate for the admission of prospective students, under the direction of the Processing Supervisor.

This position is responsible for varied higher level administrative support, but still routine in nature. Duties include, but are not limited to, data entry, record keeping, auditing transactions, scanning/imaging, and handling established, basic correspondence.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from High School or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing.
* Skill in evaluating facts or situation to route calls/customers appropriately.
* Basic MS Office skills.
* Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers.
* Skill in filing and record keeping.
* Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
* Skill in basic math.
* Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures.

* One year of experience in a college/university setting.

Job Duties
Responsible for determining if an application belongs to either undergraduate, graduate, or registrars office. Must know how to move the application to the appropriate departments workflow queue.Responsible for determining if a student is domestic or international. Complete data entry of the applications by performing search in Perceptive Content for each applicant, matching any received documents to the students record, re-linking any orphan documents, making appropriate changes to EIS and ensuring the applicants checklist is accurate. Responsible for determining permanent residency and non-documented status. Ensure that PR cards or SB 1528 affidavit is received before the completion of an application. Must be able to determine eligibility for application fee waivers received by our office. Responsible for determining initial residency status on undergraduate applications for tuition purposes. Responsible for completing application updates and appropriately revising information in EIS. Responsible for downloading and printing the Common Application additional documents. Documents must be separated and sent to the correct department/area for further processing. Responsible for working the Adm.Appunt.edu Email box and answering any questions concerning the application fee, PR cards, SB 1528 and other miscellaneous questions. Fully understand the procedures for processing credit card payments in PayPal. Able to run reports and apply payment information to the correct student. Must be able to perform refunds through PayPal and Cashnet. Understanding deposit procedures as outlined by Student Financial Services. Assists with the accurate and timely deposit of all cash, checks, money orders, and credit card payments for undergraduate admissions. Responsible for working the NTAD_ULD Fee Clerk Link queue and the corresponding Fee Clerk queues the linked documents are routed to.
