Senior Android Engineer
Santa Clara, CA Hybrid

Chegg is looking for a talented Android Engineer to join a team working on the company's flagship mobile app. In this role, you will develop features, participate in researches, adopt new technologies and processes. Your work will have an impact on millions of students throughout their educational journey.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for developing and owning new features.
  • Develop and maintain shared components.
  • Analyze and optimize UI for efficiency and performance.
  • Contribute new features ideas, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams.
  • You'll be working as part of a team addressing international student needs. You will collaborate with remote team of Android engineers and collaborating to build apps following enterprise standards.
  • You will work with the following technologies: Kotlin, Coroutines, DI, Jetpack, Compose, RoomDB, GraphQL, unit tests, and more.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years building Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Strong problem-solving & coding skills.
  • Comfortable working through the entire stack from the user interface through the system levels.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Can-do attitude.

The pay range for this position is $102,711 to $254,332. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
