Description | Reporting to the Dean, the Senior Assistant To performs a full range of secretarial duties for the Dean’s Office in the School of Health Sciences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintains appointment calendars for the Dean, Vice Dean, Associate Deans and Assistant Deans. Fields calls and greets visitors, handling their inquiries and sorts and distributes incoming mail and other materials. Tracks and resolves status of outstanding academic forms; maintains and updates personnel files. Assists with the tracking of the Dean’s office expenses and preparation of expense reports and processes reimbursement requests. Orders office supplies through the online Print Center and maintains general office supplies inventory. Maintains office equipment by making necessary service calls and ordering computer/printer supplies. Assists with event planning by collaborating with other departments across campus as needed. Submits work orders and key requests to the Plant Department. Assists with the preparation of departmental documents. May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skill, and which are normally included within the above job title.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Qualifications | Excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Prior office experience and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work on initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to handle data entry, mail merges, and tables. Detail oriented, self-motivated, well organized, and has the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications | Experience with Ellucian Banner, Chrome River, DegreeWorks, Online Print Center, Work Request – WebTMA7, 25 Live, CTS Web and Room Reservation is a plus.

Salary/Salary Range | $45,016
