As a Senior Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics, you will be providing 100% of your effort in direct clinical patient care and clinical academicresponsibilities. Expectations for this role include, but are not limited to, those outlined below:
Participating in a comprehensive range of training related to your specialty under the direction of a designated Orthopaedic Attending. These activities maytake place inpatient, and outpatient services at Emory University Orthopaedics locations and include:
- Assimilate skills in evaluation and management of all disease related disorders.
- Perform full spectrum surgical and/or non-surgical methods, including minimally invasive techniques as necessary.
- Provide independent patient management.
- Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as related to your specialty
- Participate in the development and completion of two clinical or translational research projects specific to your specialty and suitable for publication.
- Participate in the clinical education, training, and development of residents and medical students through on-site clinical rotation activities and campus-related conferences.
Demonstrate constant professionalism with staff, residents, fellows, and attendings in clinic, operating room
Provide at least one Grand Rounds
Lead journal club
Participate in appropriate conferences on a regular basis
Keep an active case log for quarterly submission to the Program Coordinator Additional Details :
