The Senior Business Assistant provides comprehensive support to directors, assistant directors, staff, and business offices by managing and interpreting financial information with consistency, efficiency, and accuracy. Serving as the subject matter expert for all customers in these areas, this role is responsible for account management, invoice reconciliation, utilities invoice entry, and various reporting functions. The Senior Business Assistant acts as a liaison between departments and the Payroll Center, Purchasing Center, and business area, and exercises delegated signature approval for a range of business transactions in accordance with delegation policies. Additional responsibilities may include developing financial reports for planning and forecasting, as well as analyzing and projecting data for budget reviews.
This position requires 100% onsite work and involves supporting operations within the Energy and Utilities area.

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- High school diploma/GED
- 4+ years of experience in customer service, as an account clerk, business, or other related field
- Experience in providing high level of customer service

- Comprehensive knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including file management, record maintenance, form processing, and office terminology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service abilities and professionalism when interacting with students, individuals, and business clients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and build strong working relationships across a diverse workforce at all organizational levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, emphasizing accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
