About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced higher education professional, with knowledge on Banner by Ellucian, and specifically with Ellucian’s Document Management Solutions? Do you have experience implementing and operating higher education ERP Information Systems that integrate with document management tools? Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success.  In this mission critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their business office including transformation to cloud/SAAS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions.

Ellucian is seeking an experienced Document Management Consultant to join the North American Professional Services team, into a position as a Senior Consultant, to lead implementations of our solutions for colleges and universities. The Document Management Consultant will execute all aspects related to the business process analysis, installation verification, configuration, implementation, training and deployment of our Document Management solutions, requiring a mix of functional and technical knowledge and experience. The expectations for candidates to fill this role include significant experience in the areas below.
 
Where you will make an impact

  • Execute all aspects related to service delivery and deployment of Ellucian’s Document Management solution through planned engagements with our higher education customers.
  • Collaborate with consulting teams and peers to ensure customer and Ellucian project expectations are exceeded.
  • Identify and remediate issues that impede enabling customer greatness.
  • Drive innovative and transformative strategies which will ensure successful implementations.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience by ensuring development, use and maintenance of services artifacts that exceed customer expectations.
  • Consult with customers to drive their performance improvement and empower them to own and correct problems.
  • Execute all assignments with precision, timeliness, and professionalism.

What you will bring

  • Document Management experience
  • Experience with OpenText’s Application Xtender product suite
  • Knowledge of Higher Educations business practices across all ERP Modules (e.g. Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Human Resources, Finance, Advancement)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Must present a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate to higher education administrators, users and project leaders both internally and externally.
  • Enabling delivery readiness, including the ability to triage and verify installation efforts, problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Strong prioritization skills, able to manage activities based on business impact.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Support and demonstration of Ellucian values.
  • Ability to travel to deliver consulting and implementation services based on Ellucian delivery methodology.
  • Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of project goals, and utilization targets.
