About the Role: Senior Content Strategist, Search Innovation 
Location: Remote* | Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer. 

As Senior Content Strategist, Search Innovation, you will lead Begin's content-driven growth
strategy across traditional search, AI-powered answer engines, and emerging discovery platforms.
You will build scalable content ecosystems that help parents find trusted answers at every stage of
their journey while driving measurable business outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, SEO, audience insights, and AI-driven
discovery. You will identify high-value content opportunities, develop editorial frameworks, and
create scalable systems that increase visibility across Google Search, AI assistants, social search, answer
engines, and future discovery channels, through a strategic and connected content strategy.

What You Will Drive

Drive Content Strategy & Editorial Growth
• Lead the end-to-end content strategy for Begin's content ecosystem.
• Conduct audience research, intent mapping, keyword modeling, topic clustering, and content gap
analysis.
• Create editorial roadmaps aligned with parent needs, business priorities, and emerging search
opportunities.
• Establish scalable content frameworks that support expertise, trust, and authority.

Lead Organic Search Strategy
• Develop and execute a holistic content discovery strategy spanning SEO, AEO, and AI-driven
search experiences.
• Identify how parents seek information across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and emerging
discovery platforms.
• Build content programs that increase visibility across both traditional search results and
AI-generated answers.

Build Content Systems for AI Discovery
• Design content structures optimized for both human audiences and AI-powered retrieval systems.
• Develop content formats that improve discoverability in answer engines and generative search
experiences.
• Partner with subject matter experts to transform educational expertise into highly discoverable
content assets.
• Experiment with AI-assisted content workflows that improve speed, quality, and scale.

Audience & Opportunity Research
• Analyze search behavior, audience needs, and content performance to identify growth
opportunities.
• Translate consumer insights into content strategies that address high-intent parenting questions
and decision-making moments.
• Monitor competitive landscapes and evolving discovery trends.

Cross-Functional Content Leadership
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Design, Learning, and Engineering teams.
• Advocate for content-first thinking throughout the organization.
• Align content investments with acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.

Performance & Optimization
• Own content performance reporting across traffic, engagement, conversions, rankings, and AI
discovery visibility.
• Establish measurement frameworks that connect content impact to business outcomes.
• Continuously optimize content portfolios based on audience behavior and performance insights.

Qualifications
  • 6–9 years of experience in content strategy, organic growth, SEO, or search-driven content marketing with a track record of driving measurable business impact.
  • Proven success developing scalable content strategies that increase organic visibility, engagement, and acquisition.
  • Strong expertise in content strategy, audience insights, search intent, topic clustering, and editorial planning.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, and GA4.
  • Experience optimizing content for AI-powered discovery, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and emerging search experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable content strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, and subject matter experts.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Salary MIN: $135,000 MAX: $150,000. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors.
