About Flint
Founded in 2023, Flint is an AI-powered platform built for schools. In three years, we’ve partnered with hundreds of schools across the U.S. and internationally, supporting 750,000+ students.
We’re now focused on scaling our Customer Success function to ensure schools are supported, engaged, and successful as we grow.

The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Customer Success Engineer to own and scale the systems, automation, and processes behind Flint’s Customer Success function.
This role sits at the intersection of customer outcomes, revenue accountability, and technical execution. You’ll drive company-wide Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targeting 110%+, manage customer health monitoring, and build the automated workflows that let our CS team scale without proportional headcount growth.
Much of traditional CS should be automated. Your job is to figure out how, build the systems, and continuously improve them.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive company-wide NRR targeting 110%+ through retention, expansion, and renewal execution
  • Build and own customer health monitoring: churn signals, expansion opportunities, and renewal forecasting
  • Design automated workflows for onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion processes
  • Develop CS tooling, reporting systems, and internal automation
  • Handle technical escalations for complex customer issues
  • Identify retention, expansion, and churn patterns to create scalable systems
  • Enable the wider CS team to become increasingly self-sufficient
Who You Are
  • You have prior startup experience or have worked in high-intensity, ambiguous environments
  • You’ve built things hands-on using tools like Claude Code or Cursor
  • You think commercially and take accountability for revenue outcomes
  • You instinctively spot opportunities for automation
  • You can engage directly with customers when needed
  • You move fluidly between customer problems, data analysis, workflows, and technical systems
  • You prefer ownership and ambiguity over established playbooks
Success Metrics
  • 110%+ NRR achievement
  • Strong Gross Revenue Retention (GRR)
  • Accurate renewal forecasting
  • Early churn and expansion identification
  • Increasingly automated CS workflows
  • Growing revenue per CS employee
What We Offer
  • Meaningful early-stage equity
  • Health and dental insurance
  • The opportunity to shape how Flint supports schools as we scale
