About the Role

Utilize your expertise in data frame tech (Spark, Polars, Pandas) to transform data into actionable insights. You will be entrusted with creating impactful dashboards with Plotly & Dash.
 
Responsibilities

  • Analyzing Data: You will use a variety of data manipulation and analysis packages . (we use: Spark (PySpark), Polars, Pandas) and work mostly on databricks.
  • Creating API calls and other such fun tech adventures.
  • Crafting tidy data schema, metrics, pipelines. On a per needs basis you will engage in XML parsing or regex searches on lots of text (e.g. almost all the scientific literature).
  • Developing visualizations and interactive dashboards using Plotly, Dash.
  • Addressing complex data challenges with innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Have experience with dataframes (from any framework [pyspark, pandas, polars, dplyr,  data.table, dataframes.jl]).
  • Possess an ability to learn new technologies swiftly.
  • Display the ability to stay abreast of the latest trends in data analytics, with opportunities for ongoing
    learning and skill development.
  • Understand the complex flow of data as it is derived from multiple sources. Be able to explain complex data solutions to Technical/Non Technical professionals.
  • Possess Data Driven problem solving skills to execute complex solutions.
  • Demonstrate client facing skills to drive Initiatives for both internal and external solutions.

Salary Range

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC.$87,100.00 - $145,000.00
