Rutgers University is hiring a Senior Department Administrator, SPVR for the Theater Department at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. This role provides administrative leadership over budgeting, accounting, personnel, events, and facilities coordination, manages a team of administrative staff, and ensures financial and operational functions align with departmental goals.

Provide leadership in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, personnel, facilities coordination, events, and administrative operations.
Oversee and manage a team of administrative staff ensuring professional support to students, faculty, and stakeholders.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial data and reports, maintain records, and reconcile accounts.
Manage faculty and staff payroll and personnel processes.
Interact extensively with the university community, students, prospective students, the public, and external organizations.
Required proficiency with MS Office Suite, Cornerstone, Discoverer/Tableau, multiple Rutgers-specific systems related to grants, accounting, payroll, recruitment, and facilities management.
Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of administrative management experience, preferably in higher education or arts.
Strong organizational, leadership, communication, multitasking, and strategic planning skills necessary.
Salary range between $85,000 and $98,000 starting, with flexible offers based on qualifications and experience.
