Highlights

Mentor junior counsel in the Digital Technology Contracts team.
Requires admission to practice law in the U.S., with ability to obtain North Carolina State Bar admission if not already admitted.
Experience negotiating technology transactions, drafting SaaS and cloud services agreements, and knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
Preferred 7-10 years legal experience in technology transactions, privacy, and cybersecurity, ideally in higher education or public sector.
Compensation range between $150,000 and $200,000 annually.
Position reports to Associate Vice Chancellor, Chief Privacy Officer, and Special Counsel within the Institutional Privacy Office.
