Job Summary | Provides strategic leadership for the development, integration, and support of campus enterprise applications. Oversees major IT initiatives, including the transition to cloud ERP and the adoption of modern development practices. Manages internal and external resources, directs application teams, and ensures alignment with the IS&T Strategic Plan. Engages campus stakeholders, presents proposals, and leads cross-functional projects to successful completion. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field. Five (5) years progressive experience in Information Technology management position. Three (3) years supervisory or leadership experience. One (1) year of strategic planning experience in an IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications | Experience managing a cloud ERP migration Master’s degree preferably in Information Systems, MBA or relevant advanced degree Leadership experience in Higher Education Progressive leadership experience in identifying and implementing enterprise application solutions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) | Skilled in project management, problem-solving, analysis, follow-through, influence and persuasion. Ability to function as systems thinker and be solution minded with a global perspective. Experience organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects from idea through to implementation. Combination of demonstrated skills in end-user service management, technology management, process engineering, customer centric thinking, and executive communication. Ability to manage ambiguity. Demonstrated passion, idealism, positive attitude, mission driven and self-directed. Excellent interpersonal skills, “Customer Focus” attitude, and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, the ability to make effective presentations, have strong public speaking skills, develop and drive change and effectively communicate change Leadership and management skills to lead a diverse group of professionals within a team environment. Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to changing priorities and circumstances. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint Strong collaboration, consultative, and teambuilding skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, and senior administrators to develop and implement appropriate uses of technology to solve business problems and achieve goals and objectives. Ability to understand complex challenges and lead teams of technologists to deploy appropriate technological solutions that meet campus vision and mission. High ethical standards and business acumen. Skilled in managing organizational contracts and budgets and tracking ongoing expenses with budget Skilled in hiring, coaching and developing a technical and customer service team.
