Job Summary | The College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Director of Communications.
Work within a dedicated communications work unit to further UK College of Medicine’s presence within the region and to encourage employee engagement, alumni relations, and public awareness of the college’s initiatives.
This communicator will support both internal and external communications as well as a variety of white papers, speeches, presentations, etc., for the college.
In accomplishing these assignments, this communication professional will be responsible for interviewing senior leadership, researching topics, writing, fact checking, etc., necessary to produce thoughtful pieces on compelling faculty, student, or alumni success stories, recruitment materials, internal newsletters to faculty and staff, etc.
The position will fill many functions within a small team.

Preferred Education/Experience | MS degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field preferred.
