Core responsibilities:
- Provide experienced advice to management and employees on employee relations issues, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping to resolve complex employee relations matters.
- Facilitate the resolution of employee concerns and conflicts through mediation and mentorship.
- Lead detailed investigations into employee complaints, ensuring fair, impartial, and confidential processes.
- Partner with Employee Relations Manager to develop, review, and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal standards and best practices, as well as Operational success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to implement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Craft and deliver training for managers and employees on employee relations topics.
- Guide leaders on effective communication and employee engagement strategies.
- Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and help develop proactive strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations on employee relations issues and initiatives.
- Support organizational change initiatives by providing input on employee impact and Communication strategies.
- Assist in the development of change management plans to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Stay current on labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
- Identify potential risks related to employee relations and recommend mitigation plans.

The Senior Employee Relations Consultant plays a pivotal role in improving employee engagement and encouraging a positive work environment. This position will be partnered with the Employee Relations team to provide expert mentorship on employee relations issues, assist in developing strategies to address workplace challenges, and help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Do you have what it takes?
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proven years of employee relations or related HR field experience, with a focus on leading investigations and policy development.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including salaried and hourly.
Nice to Have:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business-related field and/or equivalent working and/or military experience.
- SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.
- Manufacturing and logistics environmental experience strongly preferred.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $90,810.00 - $136,216.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
