Manage complex employee relations issues and provide HR consultation to managers and staff.
Conduct impartial internal investigations and prepare investigative reports with recommendations.
Offer coaching on performance management, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes.
Develop and deliver training on workplace conduct, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and advise on policy interpretation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common software applications.
Requires a bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, business, or related field plus five years of relevant HR experience.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in HR, higher education HR experience, and professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI).
Provides services to MSU administrators, faculty, and staff within the Employee & Labor Relations department.
Annual salary offered is $77,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications; position is exempt and eligible for benefits.
