Description

Summary of Purpose:
Leads monitoring, evaluation and assistance activities for nuclear power stations in their assigned functional area, interacting with utility personnel, INPO/WANO management, and industry professional groups.

Essential Functions
  • Performs plant evaluations as an Industry Teaching & Learning evaluator
  • Participates in accreditation activities
  • Evaluates station training programs using Performance Objectives and Criteria and Accreditation Objectives & Criteria
  • Observes plant and training activities, including classroom, simulator, laboratory training evaluations and communicates the results in both written and verbal form
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Six years of professional work experience
  • Four years of commercial nuclear plant experience in training
 
Preferred
  • Technical experience in Training and Accreditation
  • Instructor experience designing, developing, and delivering training using the SAT
  • Line program owner experience for a training program
  • Previous INPO/WANO evaluative experience
  • Seven years commercial nuclear plant experience
 
General Requirements

Work Context
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
