The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing key business insights and decision support as it relates to Contractual Subscription Revenues. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be a key partner to the Customer Success Operations team and will broadly support customer Renewals and Retention with goal of improving contractual revenue performance.
What you'll do:
- Consolidated ownership of contractual revenue base.
- Takes lead on analyzing and explaining month-end revenue results including variances against Budget and Forecast. Determines primary drivers for variances within recurring software Subscriptions, as well as within other transactional product areas.
- Analyzes recurring product-level revenue changes, identifying cause of change and emerging trends.
- Participates in quarterly revenue forecasts and is responsible for updating revenue driver models as well as coordinating on bad debt estimates. Loads forecast updates into Hyperion Essbase and validating revenue output against expectations. Helps bridge and explain revenue forecast changes for contractual recurring components.
- Supports Billings, Collections and Cash Flow processes with key SaaS data metrics.
- Assists business with a variety of ad hoc analysis and data requests related to the Contractual Recurring revenue base.
- Finance lead supporting Customer Success Operations leadership.
- Responsible for month-end reporting and analysis for recurring Customer Success business reviews including metrics around Recurring Revenues, Customer Retention, Renewal Rates and Supplier Price Increases.
- Provides financial support and helps develop presentation materials for Quarterly Vertical Performance Reviews.
- Manages periodic updates to Customer Retention Cost model as well as Customer Success capacity and assignment model.
- Provides Customer Success leadership with actionable insights to drive improved customer support model and customer renewal outcomes.
- Finds opportunities to automate recurring reporting into Qlik dashboard visualizations.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of proven Finance-related experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Experience building financial models, performing data analysis and developing management reporting.
- Ability to assess financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong personal and interactive skills with all levels of management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Qlik, Hyperion, Salesforce and Workday is a plus.

The starting base pay is $77,700.00 to $104,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
