The position oversees key reconciliations, performs complex accounting functions, helps prepare annual financial statements, and supports debt related processes. The role ensures compliance with GAAP and University policies, provides accounting guidance to campus departments, and contributes to improvements in financial systems and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, accounting or related field and five years of experience in accounting or auditing required. Expertise in accounting standards. Supervisory experience preferred.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft Finance, fixed asset accounting, and debt desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range $90,000 to $97,500
Other Information
6 month probationary period required.
Additional hours may be required during fiscal year-end close.
