Senior Graphic Designer / Lead Brand Designer Full Description

We are looking for a self-starting Senior Graphic Designer / Lead Brand Designer to own the design and visual branding as a part of the marketing team. As the cornerstone of design on the marketing team, you will both drive strategic direction for visual elements of our branding, as well as do the work of bringing that vision to life. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can collaborate cross-functionally to ensure their work elevates our brand experience across teams, and knows how to incorporate feedback effectively into their work while owning a vision for bringing the Coursedog brand to life. 
We are looking for someone we can count on to:
  • Drive the strategic direction of our visual brand, as well as do the design work of bringing that direction to life
  • Communicating effectively and achieve alignment with executive audiences on a visual brand direction
  • Expand and own the implementation of our existing brand guidelines
  • Own the creation of a series of key asset templates and adapt existing content into those templates
  • Develop the design direction for our print magazine, AcOps
  • Lead design updates on our website via wireframing while collaborating with our Sr. Product Marketing, Sr. Demand Gen Manager, and website dev agency
  • Art direct and craft ads for multi-channel advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and other leaders involved in positioning to define key diagrams or visuals used frequently to communicate our value propositions
  • Drive video and animation storyboarding, as well as direction, for key assets
  • Manage external animators and video editing vendors to realize video and other motion assets
  • Own the ongoing visual identity of Coursedog so that we project our category leadership
  • Elevate our brand marketing efforts to improve the impact of visual elements
  • Propose and drive design priorities to support our go-to-market and customer success goals
We want to hear from you if:
  • You’ve been designing for 5+
  • You’re proficient with a wide range of design tools that include Adobe Suite, Figma and Canva
  • You like to work collaboratively, while being able to independently manage your own workload
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You have experience designing for a wide variety of media, from web to print to booth design, and more
  • You’re comfortable with a consultative approach that influences colleagues toward your vision
  • You have experience with UX / UI as a part of web design and wireframing
  • You have worked closely with or managed developers as a part of the web design process
  • You have experience storyboarding and directing motion design, animation, or video creation efforts
