for a large, industry-leading organization within the airline and aviation sector. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating scalable learning solutions that support business priorities and enhance the learner experience across the organization.

This role requires more than strong course-development skills. The ideal candidate will be a strategic instructional designer who can assess a business or performance need, determine the appropriate learning modality, and independently translate that need into an effective learning solution. The consultant will develop solutions across eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), microlearning, job aids, video, and performance-support materials while partnering closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and business leaders.

The successful candidate will bring a strong command of ADDIE and instructional design methodologies, Articulate 360/Rise, learning management systems, facilitation, project management, and learning measurement. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams, navigating ambiguity, and adjusting learning solutions as business priorities evolve. Click Now to Apply!

What You Will Be Accountable For
  • Design and develop learning solutions across multiple modalities, including eLearning, ILT, VILT, microlearning, job aids, videos, and performance-support materials.
  • Assess learner needs, business objectives, and operational constraints to determine and recommend the most effective learning modality rather than simply executing a predetermined solution.
  • Apply ADDIE, Instructional Systems Design (ISD), and adult-learning principles to create engaging, learner-centered solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop interactive digital learning content using Articulate 360, including Rise, and related learning-development technologies.
  • Publish, maintain, organize, and manage learning content within an LMS environment, with Cornerstone experience highly preferred.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, validate content, manage reviews, and ensure learning solutions accurately address business needs.
  • Independently manage multiple learning projects and workstreams, including project plans, milestones, deliverables, stakeholder expectations, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Facilitate instructor-led learning sessions and train-the-trainer programs, providing facilitators with the materials and guidance necessary for successful delivery.
  • Establish, track, and analyze learning metrics, learner feedback, and other performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize tools such as Qualtrics or similar platforms to collect and analyze learner and stakeholder feedback.
  • Review and audit existing learning content to identify opportunities to improve quality, relevance, learner engagement, accessibility, and alignment with instructional design standards.
  • Develop clear and concise communications, presentations, and supporting materials to maintain stakeholder alignment and communicate program progress, recommendations, and outcomes.
  • Rapidly develop, iterate, and pivot learning solutions in response to changing business priorities, stakeholder feedback, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate across departments and functional areas to support large-scale and cross-functional learning initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.

What Qualifications You Need
  • 8+ years of professional instructional design and learning-development experience, with senior-level experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience designing learning solutions across multiple modalities, including eLearning, ILT/VILT, microlearning, job aids, and performance support.
  • Strong working knowledge of ADDIE and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 and Rise.
  • Experience publishing and managing learning content within an LMS; Cornerstone experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led learning and/or train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Strong project-management skills with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and SMEs.
  • Experience establishing and tracking learning metrics, feedback, and program effectiveness measures.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to translate business requirements into practical learning strategies and solutions.
  • Experience working within a corporate learning, enterprise learning, or Learning & Development environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative, consultative, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cornerstone LMS.
  • Proficiency with Vyond, Synthesia, video-editing software, or similar multimedia-development tools.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other formal project-management/workflow platforms.
