The Senior Learning Architect applies content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital instructional materials. This role utilizes human-driven and AI-driven content creation workflows to ensure high quality, pedagogical soundness, and alignment with learning goals and product requirements.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Learning Architecture Manager.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $64,678.00 and $74,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Independently manage creation of quality instructional components of print and digital products using both human- and AI-driven workflows.
- Use AI tools and workflows to enhance the efficiency of content development and work processes; stay updated on new developments.
- Analyze standards and other curriculum requirements to lead development of project blueprints, scope and sequences, guidelines and other documents needed for content development.
- Contribute to projects for multiple products and outside of primary area of expertise.
- Write and edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, etc.) for assigned products and content areas.
- Regularly lead product development project teams comprised of internal team members, contingent workforce, and/or vendors and independent contractors.
- Collaborate and proactively communicate across functional teams to identify and resolve project issues, including those utilizing AI workflows and those managed by human teams.
- Provide training, assign and review work, and deliver feedback to ensure quality, consistency with product guidelines, and precise implementation of project requirements.
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date understanding of project status and proactively communicate risks and issues. Understand how decisions and changes impact other aspects of development. With little oversight, anticipate and solve problems to meet project goals, collaborate with project manager to plan and execute on AI-driven and human-driven workflows and schedules, and strategize resourcing to balance allocations to meet project deadlines and inform decision-making.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, a core subject area (Math or Science), or instructional design, and at least 4 years of experience in educational publishing, instructional design, or classroom teaching.
- Subject matter expertise in Math, Science, or STEM required.
- Hands-on experience building solutions with AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI).
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate) and basic programming/scripting skills (Python or JavaScript), with a strong understanding of APIs, JSON, and integrations preferred.
- Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding time frames.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
