ResponsibilitiesSupports the company’s Mission and Vision by designing and delivering impactful learning solutions that enhance workforce performance.
- Conducts needs assessments and gathers stakeholder input to identify learning requirements
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to scope and plan training initiatives
- Designs and develops instructional materials, including eLearning, classroom, and virtual training content
- Applies ADDIE methodology and adult learning principles to guide instructional design
- Oversees and refines existing programs, including Brightstar’s language training
- Analyzes data to assess learner outcomes and curriculum effectiveness
- Facilitates training sessions and provides technical support
- Evaluates training impact through surveys and feedback, using insights for continuous improvement
- Stays current on learning trends and recommends new technologies
- Participates in cross-functional projects involving new technologies, products, and events
- Reviews and provides feedback on curriculum developed by peers
- Performs related duties as needed
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an instructional designer developing e-learning, classroom, and blended learning solutions
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience facilitating training in person and virtually
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to perform needs assessments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate, Vyond, and other e-learning authoring tools.
- Occasional travel required (West Greenwich, group meetings, etc.)

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
