POSITION
The Senior Learning & Talent Specialist will play a pivotal role in nurturing the firm’s most valuable asset—its people. You will design, implement, and manage talent development initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic goals. Through collaboration with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will create impactful learning and talent programs, driving employee growth and ensuring organizational success. The position works in close partnership with the HR Business Partners and wider organizations leaders to identify learning needs and develop solutions that are scalable.
Role location is Charlotte, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and manage structured talent programs such as leadership development pipelines, early career schemes and succession plans.
- Oversee the delivery of annual talent programs such as performance management, career discussions, talent assessments and support with Employee Engagement Surveys.
- Work closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify the businesses specific developmental needs and ensure talent solutions are tailored to meet strategic goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through feedback and metrics, continuously improving them to support the firm’s long-term growth and retention strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and business partners to define critical roles and identify high-potential talent as part of succession planning efforts.
- Support the ongoing evolution of the SEEDS leadership development program and alumni.
- Implement retention-focused initiatives such as mentoring programs, career coaching, and engagement strategies to retain top talent.
- Develop and deliver engaging learning opportunities, covering leadership skills, technical proficiency, and professional requirements.
- In partnership with HR Business Partners, conduct training needs analyses to identify gaps and provide innovative learning solutions.
- Provide oversight to the job architecture framework, incorporating competencies and recommended training.
- Lead and/or support culture building initiatives so all employees can thrive including in-office culture, management practices and organizational communications.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in talent development, L&D, or similar roles within a dynamic and global organization.
- Demonstrated success in designing and managing talent programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and data analytics tools.
Base Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
