We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing tolead strategic data research and visualization initiatives and to modernize core financial systems. This is a critical role reporting into the Vice President of Business Operations, where you’ll use data insights to drive smarter business decisions while leading the transformation of our customer purchasing and invoicing processes.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and technology teams to modernize and automate key operations, including ordering, payments, invoice processing, and communications.
  • Lead and maintain manual operational processes until automation is in place.
  • Design and manage data analysis and business intelligence approaches to analyze data, generate insights, enable data storytelling, forecast trends, and drive decision-making.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to uncover patterns, forecast trends, optimize performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Create clear maps and methods on how data will be sourced, augmented, validated, transformed and analyzed to create data visualization.
  • Facilitate understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations.
  • Translate complex data into clear and compelling visual stories and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with our finance team to provide visual and data-driven insight into revenue, costs, and operational performance.
  • Communicate directly with customers, clients, and partners regarding invoicing status and financial queries.
  • Continuously monitor and refine analytical models to ensure accuracy and impact.

What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, martech, or IT, with a strong focus on financial systems and tools.
  • Proven experience with advanced Excel and data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills – able to interpret large datasets and translate insights into business value.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting data to senior teams.
  • Experience working directly with customers or clients is a plus.
  • Highly proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently with high levels of ownership.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $95,000 - $105,000
