Job Description
The Senior Manager of Advisory Services for Craft will be responsible for delivering consulting and professional services to external organizations that are designing, implementing, or expanding work-based learning and apprenticeship programs. The position includes developing and executing a strategic engagement plan to support programs across diverse industries, determining pricing and tiered scopes of work, building the operational infrastructure needed to support service delivery, and managing the team that executes the services. This is a key leadership role within Craft Education's customer success team. It is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about using their business acumen to create accessible economic opportunities for individuals and their communities.
 
  • Leads collaboration with internal leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategic plans that support the delivery and scaling of consulting services
  • Partners with WGU personnel to leverage internal expertise and amplify Craft's impact as a services provider
  • Oversees the end-to-end delivery of consulting services, ensuring strong execution, partner satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Manages and supports the services team through coaching, development, assigning projects, and overseeing performance
  • Leads the development of templates, playbooks, and other resources to support consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Supports revenue growth by sharing and qualifying new funding opportunities and supporting grants personnel with proposals as needed
  • Creates and utilizes tracking systems for managing, reviewing, and reporting on the Services Team activities
  • Monitors performance metrics and outcomes to assess impact and drive continuous improvement across consulting engagements
  • Actively strategizes and seeks opportunities for the Services Team to promote the Craft Connect platform to Services customers
  • Stays current on industry trends and emerging practices in work-based learning and apprenticeship programs, and consistently communicates relevant insights to the team
  • Gathers and incorporates customer feedback to refine, improve, and evolve consulting practices and services offerings
  • Collaborates with internal teams to identify and showcase impactful services work
  • Implements and oversees sound client management practices, acting as the point of contact for escalated client issues

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing programs, budgets, and operational frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partner or client engagements, including scoping, pricing, delivering services, and ensuring outcomes.

Education

Experience
  • Seven (7) years of experience in consulting, engagement management, workforce development, higher education, career services, organizational partnerships, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience preparing and delivering comprehensive reports, visualizations, or presentations for stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in education, business, public administration, organizational leadership, or a related field
  • Experience working in an agile start-up or remote environment
  • Experience writing or navigating complex grant proposals
  • Experience using CRM or project management tools to track partnerships or projects

Experience in lieu of education
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements.  Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.
