Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager, Experiential Product Enablement plays a pivotal role in transforming the learner experience by leading the highly matrixed operationalization of innovative, student-centered technology across the university system. This role leads enterprise-level enablement efforts by aligning product vision with user experience, employee and student workflows, and institutional goals, ensuring that new tools deliver meaningful outcomes for learners, faculty, staff, and the university. Operating at a strategic level and navigating organizational complexity, this role drives the cross-functional design and execution of technology adoption initiatives that deliver on the value proposition by translating sophisticated innovation strategies into accessible, actionable adoption pathways and user journeys for diverse audiences.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Defines and leads the Success Enablement strategy. 
  • Leads enterprise-wide coordination of adoption strategies, ensuring alignment among Product Management, Academic Organization, People Development, and Operational teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Translates emerging product strategies and platform capabilities into user-centric enablement plans that are scalable, role-specific, and connect both user and institutional workflows for reliable execution and impact.
  • Acts as a unifying force across diverse functional areas to drive alignment, shared ownership, coordinated adoption efforts, and shared accountability of outcomes.
  • Engages senior and mid-level stakeholders to gain buy-in, clarify priorities, and embed enablement into broader institutional transformation strategies.
  • Establishes collaboration opportunities across academic, operational, and technical partners to ensure continuous refinement and long-term success of technology implementations.
  • Develops compelling, persona-driven messaging and change narratives that resonate with internal audiences and elevates the perceived value of new technologies.
  • Creates integrated internal go-to-user campaigns, including storytelling assets, product explainers, multimedia resources, and role-based communications, to drive awareness, understanding, and behavioral adoption.
  • Designs and implements behavior change strategies that support institutional transformation and readiness for disruption.
  • Builds internal capacity by launching communities of practice, peer coaching networks, and toolkits that support continuous skill development and cultural alignment.
  • Guides the development of adoption playbooks, implementation frameworks, and onboarding pathways that empower local leaders and teams to scale usage confidently.
  • Defines and monitors success metrics related to adoption, engagement, proficiency, and learner impact, ensuring alignment with institutional KPIs such as retention and graduation rates.
  • Leverages usage analytics, feedback surveys, and sentiment analysis to continuously refine enablement strategies and maximize effectiveness.
  • Showcases early wins, user stories, and measurable outcomes to reinforce momentum, celebrate innovation, and inspire broader adoption.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing diverse stakeholder groups within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical and strategic concepts into accessible, actionable communications and enablement experiences
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, stakeholder engagement, and behavior change models
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, especially across departments and in the absence of formal authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education            
  • Master’s Degree in Education, Business, Organizational Development, or related field

Experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in product marketing, change enablement, technology implementation, or strategic learning initiatives, preferably in higher education or mission-driven environments.
  • 3 or more years of people leadership experience.

Experience in lieu of education
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements.  Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Experience with product or learning technology adoption at scale
  • Certifications in change management (e.g., Prosci), project management, and coaching methodology (i.e. ICF)
  • Strong familiarity with LMS platforms, adaptive technologies, analytics dashboards, and AI-powered learning tools

Position & Application Details
