Job Description

The LEGO Group is on the lookout for a Senior Manager, Global Retail Training, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retail excellence! 

Core Responsibilities  
  • In partnership with team members & SME’s create best in class, innovative, playful, engaging learner journeys and training programs that drive behavior and business results 
  • Develop, deploy, and iterate a Global Retail Training Enabling Kit along with a process to ensure Store teams are engaged with and understand how to best leverage Global Training Tools. 
  • Build strong relationships across Marketing, Corporate SME's, and other Talent teams to leverage and use existing learning assets across topics such as Product & Novelty Training, Store Experience, Brand, and other Skill-Builders 
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for New Business & Gaming related training tools and contents and how they are used in Retail, iterate the Novelty Training Process 
  • SME for Membership Program (LEGO Insiders) related Training Process & Tools

As Senior Manager, Global Retail Training, you will play an important role in retail excellence in The LEGO Group. By building strong relationships, an understanding of audience needs and creating cutting edge, playful, scalable training that lands you will help elevate the LEGO brand experience for branded store teams, children and adult shoppers alike. 

Do you have what it takes?  
  • Extensive experience in a Retail Training and/or L&D related function 
  • Strong end-to-end Learning Program Creation, Deployment and Iteration Competence 
  • Strong verbal and written communication competence, storytelling and copywriting 
  • Experience from a large, global matrixed organization 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate processes, selling-in competency  
  • Flexibility to work across time zones  
 
Nice to Have: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Neuroscience related fields preferred or equivalent work experience  
  • Experience in a large, global branded, ideally experience driven retail organization  
  • First-hand retail store or hospitality experience is a plus! 
  • Demonstrated Train the Trainer skills, Enabling other Trainers or Multipliers to leverage tools & assets  
  • Blended Learning & digital asset design competence 
  • An existing passion and product knowledge of LEGO Products  
  • Fluent in English both in writing and verbal communication  
  • Additional languages especially French and Spanish

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
