Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Solutions, to join our team. This role is responsible for shaping and advancing how learning is delivered across the organization. The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of high-impact programs—including onboarding and critical capability initiatives —ensuring they are relevant, accessible, and enable employees to succeed in their roles.
This role leads a team accountable for the design, delivery and ongoing support of these programs. In close partnership with business leaders, the Senior Manager will assess skill needs, design or evolve learning solutions, and ensure effectiveness across diverse audiences. This is a strategic and hands-on role, owning programs end-to-end while continuously enhancing how learning is designed, delivered, and scaled through the effective use of systems, technology, data, and learner-centered experiences.
This is a hybrid role. Candidates will be required to report to our headquarters in Bethesda, MD.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of learning programs—from design through rollout to continuous improvement — ensuring they deliver real impact
- Lead end-to-end learning experiences aligned to business priorities, across leadership, onboarding, frontline, and functional skill areas
- Shape high-quality learning experiences by setting standards for design, facilitation, and learner experience—and coaching the team to deliver against them
- Improve accessibility, simplicity, and usability of learning—making it easy for employees to find, start, and apply learning in their roles
- Leverage data and insights to continuously improve programs, measure effectiveness, and inform decisions
- Drive adoption and sustained use of learning programs through strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and ease of access
- Modernize how learning is delivered—advancing digital, system-enabled, and AI-supported learning in the flow of work
- Contribute to building a connected, scalable learning ecosystem and advancing modern, system-enabled learning approaches
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting priorities, building capability, and driving accountability

What You Bring
Key qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of people leadership experience (leading teams and delivering through others)
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field (e.g., program management, instructional design, facilitation)
- Experience owning learning programs end-to-end (design, delivery, and continuous improvement)
- Proven experience partnering with business leaders to identify skill needs and translate them into practical, scalable learning solutions
- Ability to drive adoption and scale programs across diverse audiences (frontline to leadership)
- Experience using learning systems and data to measure effectiveness and improve learner experience
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without authority
