Overview:
The Senior Manager, Organizational Learning & Development provides leadership direction to YMCAs on career development and organizational learning for their staff. The role delivers operational guidance for the development, implementation and engagement of the YMCA Competency model and YMCA Certification system for program and leadership. In addition, provides strategic and operational leadership to the YMCA program offerings for staff career growth and pipeline development including the development and implementation of key cohort programs.
The individual will design and develop resources to support the full talent management cycle and ensure staff have access to self-directed learner tools in collaboration with the Y Network and Y- USA key stakeholders. The role requires amaster facilitator responsible for developing local Y trainers.
YMCA of the USA is a work from anywhere in the U.S. workplace. Responsibilities:
• Manage the YMCAs proprietary leadership model and leadership certification system and continue to review, evolve, and implement across the Y network.
• Lead the implementation, evolution, and development of resources for Y tests and assessment including coach support, training and resources. Examples of assessments include 360 assessment, individual assessment and Team Leader Test.
• Conduct needs analyses, initiates, designs, and develops leadership development solutions and talent-management systems with internal and external partners and collaborators, as assigned, to support new and existing leaders at all levels be more effective in their current roles, and/or prepare for future roles.
• Conceives, initiates, manages, and facilitates the delivery of portfolios of leadership development training and programs.
• Manages the process to ensure high impact design, implementation and continuous improvement of Principles and Practices (P&P). Identify and implement strategies to increase P&P participation and to engage more staff overall.
• Supports the preparation of trainers to deliver training within the local and regional training system.
• Establishes, maintains, and effectively utilizes relationships across Y-USA, Network Partners, affiliate organization and third-party providers.
• Provides leadership with Springfield College, as well as the other colleges and universities with whom the Y has a formal relationship to support staff with obtaining bachelor’s, masters or advanced degrees.
• Develop and implement the design, delivery, implementation and effective operations of career growth and pipeline development programs including cohort-based programs, national training, and learning pathways.
• Manage and implement scholarship and financial aid programs to the Y network.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position ensures that high-impact leadership-development programs enable competency development and career progression among YMCA leaders and supports building and retaining the talent pipeline in the Y network, ensuring success and impact of leaders at all levels. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, a master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in leading training, leadership development or similar human resource function
• Ability to travel approximately 15 - 25% of the time.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook) are required
• Capacity to learn and navigate multiple technology systems (e.g., Cvent, Qualtrics, WebEx, Skype, Exact Target, Learning and Career Development Center)
• Demonstrated strong analytical, project management skills, and problemsolving skill required
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environment and circumstances and to guide others in support of change management
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals across a broad range of groups.
• Organizational and time management skills are required

Posted Salary Range: USD $88,900.00 - USD $118,500.00 /Yr.
