Job Description
Ready to shape the future of digital advertising for the LEGO Group in the Americas? The Global Media Activation Team needs an experienced media leader to drive paid social media strategy and activation.

Core Responsibilities 
  • Serve as the key regional partner to Business Unit Leads, overseeing paid social media timelines, campaign execution, and performance updates, with a strong focus on YouTube and other Paid Social platforms
  • Translate global marketing plans into tailored regional paid social media strategies, guiding platform mix, budget allocation, targeting, ad formats, and flighting while ensuring alignment with global governance standards and regional goals. 
  • Manage and provide direction for a regional team that oversees paid social media campaigns in the Americas as the team expands, ensuring alignment with global standards and elevating campaign quality. 
  • Oversee media team's pacing, performance, and campaign health, collaborating with analytics teams on reporting, brand lift studies, and performance storytelling for optimizations and insights. 
  • Co-create internal playbooks and systems to support the growth of in-house media capabilities, improving workflow and clarity through cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Analyze cost-efficiency by tactic/platform to identify areas for smarter media investment. 
  • Contribute to global knowledge sharing by packaging regional findings and collaborating with the other regional leads on strategy refinement.

This newly formed team is crucial in developing the LEGO Group's advertising excellence. This role is pivotal in bringing that vision to life regionally, acting as the go-to expert for paid social media campaign execution, planning, and performance. By supporting local Business Units and integrating global strategy, this position directly contributes to optimizing media spend, enhancing campaign effectiveness, and building robust internal processes that will define the future of LEGO's digital presence. 

Do you have what it takes? 
  • Extensive hands-on experience in digital advertising within brand, agency, ad tech, or platform-side roles, with a strong focus on YouTube and social media
  • Proven ability to lead a team of individual contributors (or demonstrated leadership potential in managing projects/initiatives with cross-functional teams). 
  • Proficiency with social buying platforms such as Google Ads/DV360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, Sprinklr, and other major social platforms. 
  • Strong skills in campaign analysis, insights, and optimization recommendations, with an analytical approach to distill data into actionable insights. 
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, demonstrating comfort in translating strategic goals into actionable media plans. 
  • Adaptability to thrive in environments with evolving processes and structures, energized by building something new and shaping foundational ways of working. 
  • Collaborative and adaptable communicator who thrives in cross-functional conversations and comfortable working with internal and external partners. 

Nice to have: 
  • Background in digital media planning or account management at a brand, agency or media partner, with some hands-on campaign activation experience. 
  • Familiarity advertising on made for kids content and COPPA compliance.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
