Senior Marketing Associate, Rosetta Stone Consumer

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Senior Marketing Associate to support global consumer marketing efforts for Rosetta Stone. We have recently launched our new product, Rosetta Stone Sapphire, and it’s an exciting time to join the team and help shape the future of language learning. 

In this role, you will help drive business growth, brand love, and learner engagement across our US and international markets. You will support planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and work closely with other marketing and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator, creative, proactive, organized, and passionate about our mission to improve learning experiences for everyone. 

This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our IXL headquarters office in San Mateo, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Plan, brief, and execute marketing initiatives spanning email, website, app stores, e-commerce, and other touchpoints 
• Create marketing content that resonates, including but not limited to: brand and product messaging, and consumer-facing content, such as video scripts, influencer briefs, email and website copy, and more 
• Work closely with partner teams to help drive consistent brand and product messaging across marketing channels 
• Drive go-to-market strategy by partnering with Product team to roll out new features, optimizations, and content 
• Develop knowledge of the language learning motivations globally and adapt marketing strategies and tactics to create culturally resonant, localized initiatives 
• Dive directly into analytics tools to understand business and marketing performance, and learner engagement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS degree
• 5-7 years of well-rounded marketing experience in a professional environment, with a minimum of 3 years in B2C/consumer marketing roles 
• Strategic thinking: You are able to consider an idea from all angles, ask smart questions, and make thoughtful decisions that align with company needs and values 
• Analytical ability: You are a data-fluent marketer who can dive into performance metrics, uncover the “why” behind the numbers, and translate insights into actionable steps  
• Written communication: You are an exceptional writer and know how to make every word count
• Interpersonal skills: You’re a team player, have collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
• International curiosity: You have an interest in learning about other countries and cultures to support our global growth 
• You get things done: You’re a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, can manage projects from start to finish, and effectively meet competing deadlines
• Experience with Google Suite

The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $120,000 + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
