Primary Purpose:
The Senior Marketing Copywriter serves as a subject matter expert in developing high‑impact copy that drives measurable growth across both DTC and B2B channels. This role leads the creation of strategic, performance‑focused content that brings our products, programs, and services to life—ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right moment to accelerate acquisition and conversion.
This role owns and advances key writing initiatives for email, SEO‑optimized web content, and digital assets that support lead generation, while shaping the editorial standards and best practices used across performance, CRM, and marketing automation teams. The Copywriter collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners throughout the performance marketing, design, video production, and project management teams to deliver cohesive, high‑quality content across channels. In addition to producing complex and high‑visibility work with minimal oversight, the Copywriter provides guidance and coaching to junior writers and creative partners, contributes to operational planning, and helps influence messaging strategies that directly impact departmental goals and business results.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Develop high‑impact, data‑informed content that drives awareness, registration growth, acquisition, and product usage across DTC and B2B channels.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in performance‑driven writing, producing copy for paid social ads, email campaigns, landing pages, SEO‑optimized web content, newsletters, and direct mail.
- Apply advanced SEO and AIO expertise to craft and optimize webpage copy aligned with keyword strategy, user intent, accessibility standards, and overall performance goals.
- Translate complex value propositions into compelling, audience‑specific messaging, tailoring copy thoughtfully for diverse formats and placements.
- Partner closely with designers, video producers, and creative teams to develop best‑in‑class digital experiences that seamlessly integrate copy and visual direction.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration with performance marketing, CRM, and marketing automation teams to ensure consistent, high‑performing messaging across programs and product lines.
- Stay current on product updates, organizational initiatives, and competitive activity, proactively integrating insights into content recommendations and planning.
- Manage the full lifecycle of content creation—from concepting and planning through drafting, refinement, testing, and final delivery—ensuring high-quality work with minimal oversight.
- Make timely, data-driven copy edits based on performance insights, A/B test outcomes, stakeholder feedback, or evolving campaign requirements.
- Maintain exceptional standards for proofreading, copyediting, fact-checking, and brand voice consistency across all assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in brand, content or performance-focused copywriting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and a strong portfolio showcasing B2C, B2B, and B2E writing, including digital, campaign, and web-based assets.
- Extensive experience creating high‑performing content for paid social campaigns, email marketing, and conversion‑focused web pages, with a strong track record of driving measurable acquisition and engagement.
- Advanced working knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword strategy, on‑page optimization standards, technical considerations, and SERP performance analytics.
- Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills, with the ability to lead multiple writing assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with cross‑functional partners, vendors, and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in AP Style with a commitment to maintaining editorial consistency, clarity, and brand voice integrity.

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $87,000-$98,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
