How can you make an impact?
As the Senior Marketing Manager, K-12 Literacy Strategic Markets, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive growth, engagement, and brand awareness for McGraw Hill’s literacy solutions in targeted K-12 markets. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of literacy education, market trends, and customer needs, as well as expertise in creating impactful campaigns that resonate with educators and administrators. You will lead the charge in positioning McGraw Hill as a leader in K-12 Literacy, ensuring our offerings are aligned with market needs and drive measurable impact.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Market Insights: Lead the synthesis of market research and customer data to inform strategic decisions, product development, and marketing initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to integrate the voice of the customer into every aspect of the business.
- Strategic Campaign Development: Utilize market research and voice-of-customer insights to identify targeted segments, craft impactful pricing strategies, and establish strong market positioning against competitors.
- Campaign Execution: Develop focused, effective go-to-market strategies and sales enablement initiatives that deliver measurable results and support the growth of K-12 literacy products in strategic markets.
- Competitive Positioning: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities. Maintain a deep understanding of the K-12 literacy competitive landscape, providing insights and strategies to differentiate McGraw Hill in the market.
- Creative Leadership: Manage the production of thought leadership assets, promotional materials, and sales support collateral that elevate McGraw Hill’s brand and offerings.
We are looking for someone with:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the K-12 educational publishing industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and product launches.
- Expertise in segmentation, positioning, pricing, campaigning, and new product development practices.
- Strong understanding of literacy education trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Skills:
- Strong ability to influence and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Confidence in making data-driven decisions and taking calculated risks.
- Exceptional storytelling and narrative-building skills to elevate McGraw Hill’s brand and products.
- Experience working with Sales leadership to optimize marketing and sales strategies.

The pay range for this position is between $90,400-$130,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
