Primary/Key Responsibilities
- Lead EPM Implementations: Function as the lead developer on EPBCS projects,guiding and directing other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Gather and Analyze Requirements: Interact with senior stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, translating them into effective EPM solutions. Conduct and document design workshops to facilitate this process.
- Design and Develop Solutions: Design, build, and implement new EPM applications, major and minor enhancements, and provide ongoing production support.
- Define Project Scope: Assist in defining the scope and sizing of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Develop Proof of Concepts: Create and demonstrate proof of concept projects to showcase potential solutions to key stakeholders.
- Integrate Third-Party Services: Facilitate seamless integration between Oracle EPM and other relevant third-party services.
- Implement Complex Features: Develop and deploy complex functionalities tailored to meet specific client business needs.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify, debug, and resolve system issues, implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the EPM team, fostering their professional growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technology, Business, Finance or related field
- 7 + years of hands-on EPM experience with EPM Oracle Cloud products is essential.
- Public Company Experience: Demonstrated experience working within a public company environment, Proficiency in SOX controls and change management procedures.
- Strong FP&A and Financial Reporting Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial reporting processes.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions clearly and concisely.
- Proven Technical Skills: Expertise in building new applications, implementing enhancements, and providing production support.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor other team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service)
- Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud applications
- Project management experience
