Senior Product Designer
Begin has a new opportunity for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team! This role can be remote-based in select US locations*.

Reporting to our Senior Director of Digital Product, the Senior Product Designer will elevate our digital experiences across platforms through thoughtful, user-centered design.
You will:
- Design engaging, user-centered experiences for both child-facing apps and parent-facing websites
- Provide design direction, feedback, and structure to maintain consistency and elevate craft across projects
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, Learning, and Art/Animation teams
- Lead UX and visual design from concept through execution, maintaining high quality and accessibility
- Conduct user research and support A/B testing to inform and validate design decisions
- Maintain and evolve shared design systems across platforms
- Focus primarily on web (80%), with some contribution to mobile app experiences (20%)
Must Haves:
- 6+ years of experience designing digital products, including both responsive websites and mobile apps
- Portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design skills, ideally for consumer-facing or educational products
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing/creative, and subject matter experts
- Proficiency in Figma, including components and design systems
- Strong user research skills, including designing and analyzing qualitative studies
- Familiarity with A/B testing and interpreting results for product design impact
- Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience designing products for children, families, or educational contexts
- Understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/React Native) for better engineering collaboration
- Familiarity with generative AI design tools for rapid ideation and prototyping

Salary MIN: $125,000 MAX: $140,000 . This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location and other relevant factors. We're able to answer any additional questions you may have as you move through the interview process.
